At FirstAround Consulting, we offer services through the Community Integration and Habilitation (CIH) Waiver program to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our goal is to help participants live independently in their homes and communities by providing essential services such as day habilitation, respite care, and transportation. Our person-centered approach ensures that each individual’s unique needs are met, allowing them to gain skills and thrive in a community environment, all while avoiding institutional care.

  • Group-Based/Individual Skills Building (Community Habilitation – CHGS): Services designed to help individuals achieve community inclusion.
  • Respite Care: Temporary relief for primary caregivers to ensure their loved ones continue to receive care.

Individual Day Programs (Day Habilitation – DHI)

Eligibility Requirements

To participate in our Structured Family Caregiving program, caregivers are required to meet the following criteria:

Residence:
Reside within our service area to access our specialized support network.

Co-Residence:
Live with the individual requiring care to facilitate a nurturing and supportive environment.

Financial Eligibility:
Be eligible for Medicaid or fulfill the prerequisites for a Medicaid Waiver to benefit from our comprehensive services.
